IDE Continually Crashing !

The IDE keeps crashing. I have the current release. I opened a project I had been working on and when I tried to open a procedure for editing the IDE crashed. I would again open the ide and tried again the IDE crashes.

I tried other projects and the same things happened. I tried the Fix-InDe options and it continued to fail. I tried going back to earliers versions and it failed.

The app will compile and procedure will run, if that telles you anything

I have a deadline for this project so this pretty important for me to have resolved.

Any suggestions, I have put in a malfunction report...but

Tracking this further, this is the Error being reported in the Windows Event Viewer.

This issue has been resolved. I spent time reading every error and event log I could find in Windows 11. It became clear the issue was with Instant Developer. My best guess was that at some point a file it need became corrupted or deleted and it was crashing.

I tried the normal Fix InDe process several times without success. I was running out of options and needed to get the IDE working again. I took the next step of reinstalling but losing all the user settings. After doing that and registering the license again all seems to be working. I am not sure what the reinstall does that the Fix InDe does not but for the moment all is working. There must be differences beside the user data.

I will stop while I am ahead. I just wanted to post how it was resolved and point out there is a difference between the Fix InDe and the Re-install processes.

Maybe the antivirus deleted a DLL or another file?
