Blob upload panel field visible - not visible

Postby john w » 26 December 2020, 18:48

I have been trying to control the visibility of the blob upload field through code. The other controls on the panel respond to the set visible property but the blob upload field does not. I have tried the visible in the property window for the panel field and that will make it visible or not visible, but the code itself does not control that.

This is the panel field in question.

This is the code I am using to control visibility. Any suggestion as to getting to work will be appreciated. Since its an upload control does it need something different done.

John,

I think the problem is your if statement. See the red X?
Try:
If (clickforms.Cfupload == true)
assuming it is storing a -1 for true.

You can use shorthand for class properties since they can be boolean, but not for a panel field where it doesn't know what a boolean is.

FWIW I can hide it with a button click for both Zen and Bootstrap.

Jack - thanks but for some reason this does not like me. I could not get it to work. I changed the design a bit. I can use .visible with the panel so I hide and show the panel the controls are on. Not quite what I wanted but it works.
