Team Works unable to upload project master copy

So, I finally got teamworks installed and using english with the help of Guiseppe, but now I can't upload a master copy of my project.

I click on the upload button, select the file and click open, but all I ever get is "New master copy: The file has NOT been loaded." any idea where it might be going wrong?

No errors in Windows or SQL logs, can't find any INDE logs on either server or client.

I had trouble a few years ago uploading files to TeamWorks using the client embedded in the IDE (which uses an old flavor of Internet Explorer, which they are forced to use since the IDE is written in C++). For that case I was able to launch the TeamWorks Client directly in a browser (Chrome) and do uploads that way.

If you login via the web and it is in Italian, then you can try this url parameter to make it in English:

http://myhostname/TWWebClient/?CMD=TWClient&LANG=ENG

Now lately I've had trouble logging in with that url if I wasn't already logged in using the remember client box checked without the English Parameters.

Same problem using Chrome. This looks like a security error, but without any logs or more informative error msgas, it's hard to be sure.

Ah--if same in Chrome that would indicate it could be permissions on the Teamworks webclient folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\INDE\TeamWorks\WebClient)

For mine, I give IUSR full rights:

For better logging, you can Enable Teamworks logging. In the inde client running on Teamworks server:

Didn't work with just IUSR, but set <server>\Users to full control and I'm in.

Now for the next adventure!

Great!

My users only have read access, so not sure what is up with that. I do have Administrators group set as owning the folder and its contents, and it and Administrator have full rights.

But whatever works.
