Calendar (date picker) issue for date field in report

I have an issue with is the "Date Picker" used for boxes representing a date.. When enable the the box, the Date Picker works as it should, but:

#1) When I disable, the date picker button is still visible.
#2) When I re-enable, the date picker doesn't work.

This same problems exists in the Clinical Study example. At least for me it does.
