Date?

Postby john w » 21 May 2025, 15:35

I have a date column/field. I only want to capture a date every 15 rows. The preceeding and following 15 can remain empty. What is the syntax to show an empty date? DateField = ????

I appreciate any suggestions or help.

I don't know if there is a mask that hides the dates.
Instead of a mask, you could set the text color to match the background color.
Not an elegant solution, I know :(

That is a possible solution. I have a couple of more logic ideas to try, but I am pretty deep in a very limited bag of tricks. I may have to scheme another process to filter the junk out before I use the dates.

Assuming you are using a class, you could add non-database-linked property as text, and format it as a date or empty based on the actual date, and then hide the original date property and show the new one.

I believe I need an actual Date datatype. I need to use it for an axis in a chart. My wee brain has run out of space, I have all the data created I am just trying not to confuse the user in what is displayed to them.

I need to go back to paper and pencil and scheme this out.
